This is a cerasiforme tomato that we got from Central America. This tomato is ancient and has been growing in this region for a millennium. The fruit are small, like berries, and come on by the bucket loads. This tomato could be grown for its ornamental qualities alone. It has a very tart old tomato taste. If you are growing an heirloom garden or a historical garden then you simply must plant Quirigua which can still be found growing near the Mayan ruins of Central America. A very rare offering.
