Nazca is a very interesting and historic Tomato. This one came from a remote area of Peru where many families and market sellers have grow it for generations. It is a very pretty small flat gold beefsteak with greenish shoulders, and potato leaf foliage. The fruit is mostly in the smallish range but quite tasty. More flavorful and acidic than the garden variety modern yellows you are used to. I loved eating these right out of the garden while they were still warm. It sort of transports you back into the time of the Incas and the ancient Americas. This tomato has been around probably as long as the people of the Nazca region of Peru have been around. A rare opportunity for your heirloom collection.
