I really enjoyed growing this tomato this year. We got this one sent to us from Peru where it has been cultivated and sold in the street markets since the early part of the 20th Century. Blocky little 2 ounce tomatoes have a great flavor. Very strong tomato flavor. I don’t mean it is acidic, even though it is, I mean it is really tomatoey. I’m sure tomatoey is not a word, but you know what I mean. Next year this will be one I want to try drying to see if that rich flavor can be passed on once dried.
