This could very well be my "If you could only grow one" tomato. Of course if you know me then you know I can never grow just one. Before I started the seed business I actually had it down to a dozen must haves every year. But that was before Carolyn Male, author of "100 Heirloom Tomatoes For The American Garden" sent me seeds for Lithuanian. I was talking to her on the phone one day and just tossed out the question, "what do you think are some of the great tomatoes that are being forgotten" and this is one that came off the top of her head. I'm glad I listened and grateful she still had a few seeds to send me. This tomato is perfection. Very meaty and has few seeds. I see why seed companies don't offer it because if you had to depend on this one to live you would go broke it has so few seeds. Very sweet and they can get big. I could probably write a book about this tomato. I don't have many seeds. But it would be criminal if I didn't offer the few I have to the rest of you. Order early. This will be in my garden from now on, but I don't know if we will offer seeds again because they are so hard to come by.
