High Country has been around for several decades and has earned a place in the garden due to its very good flavor and production. There are a lot of small red tomatoes in the world, so they tend to get lost or forgotten among the flashier varieties. It should not be so. High Country is a very good salad tomato that comes on early and makes huge reliable crops. This one is incorrectly listed as a "paste" tomato by some vendors and it is not. I have grown this one several times over the years and it is definitely not a dry flesh type tomato. High Country is very juicy and robust tomato that deserves a spot in your garden and on your table.
